I have taken an informal survey among friends, and found that many of us are having moody -- if not down right cranky -- days during this run up to the holidays. So if you're feeling a little blue or irritable, your misery has plenty of company to love.
I've at least temporarily taken care of my own moodiness by going to beautiful Kaua'i. Tim and I went to celebrate the wedding of our friends Toni and Billy, who are also Tim's bandmates in Down Tight. We had a great time there and enjoyed the company and kindness of new and old friends.
You may not be able to fit a trip to Kaua'i into your plans, so I'll offer a reminder that another Christmas season tradition is available to make you laugh: the Chicago Tribune's annual "Scared of Santa" photo collection. Enjoy!

I really enjoy your books! I'm re-re-re-reading "Eighteen" right now and got curious when your next book will be out. I've already re-read "Kidnapped" so it seems to me it's been too long! :-)
See in your November posting that you've finished a non Irene Kelly book...when will that be out? And, you are planning on publishing Irene next year, right? Please, please.

Hi Jan, This is Danny Holland. I Apologize for taking so long to log back in. I have been busy getting married. I was wondering if there has been any progress on you being able to create any audio books. I and many of my friends are anxiously awaiting the time that it comes. :)

I'm working on revisions on the book I talked about in November. I have started another Irene book, but that's set aside for now. I don't have publication dates for either one at the moment.
